How Can A GURU Install Java Software on China Phones.

Java Mobile, Java ME for short, is an Internet application used on mobile phones to help produce web pages accurately on the device's screen. Many mobile phones are now able to use this application, not just smart phones. If you have a China-made mobile phone, which essentially is a clone of another brand of phone, you probably don't have any user manuals or any other information regarding the device. Because of this it is impossible to tell if the phone supports Java ME until you attempt to install it.


Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • USB data cable

  1. Download Java ME (see Resources). If you are using a Mac, click the "Mac OS Release" tab or if you are using a Windows computer, select "Windows Release" and then click "Download."

  2. Plug the USB data cable into the USB power port on your mobile phone, then connect the opposite end of the cable into a USB port on the computer.

  3. Click "Start," "Computer" and double-click the cell phone icon. This loads a window with all the files stored on the cell phone.

  4. Click-and-drag the Java ME download into the open window. If the cell phone is able to take the file the data downloads directly to the phone. If not, you receive an error message stating the device is unable to use the file. Once the file has finished saving to the phone, disconnect it from the computer and begin using your phone with the Java ME programming.

Java technology lets you view applications, graphics and videos in your mobile Web browser. You can also play compatible video games and cell phone games with the Java mobile application. Some Chinese phones may not come with the Java application. To use Java-based applications on your Chinese phone, you need to install Java onto to it. If you have USB cable and synchronization software, you can transfer and upload the files to your phone.


Instructions

  • Synchronization software

  1. Download and install the latest Java onto your computer either from Oracle's Java website or from your phone manufacturer's website. Alternatively, you can download Java through your cellular Internet service on your phone.

  2. Double-click the downloaded file. Follow the installation wizard. Install the software to your computer. Restart your computer.

  3. Download the JAR Mobile downloads. Look under the section, "Download Needed Software." Right-click and select "Unzip File."

  4. Attach the smaller end of the USB cable to your cell phone. Plug the other end into your computer's available USB port. Wait for your phone's sync software to launch. If you do not have synchronization software, contact your wireless provider.

  5. Drag and drop the JAR files into the synchronization panel. Click the "Sync" button to install the software onto your cell phone.


Tips & Warnings

  • Do not disconnect your phone during the synchronization process. This will damage your phone.


How to Install Java on a Chinese iPhone

Java is a popular application used on a variety of mobile devices. It is used in conjunction with a phone's internet browser and application loader, and enables a variety of features on both programs. You can install Java on your iPhone from China in a very similar way as you would install it on your American device--through the "Applications" menu. Installing the program will take only minutes and will have you ready to use the program immediately.

Instructions

    • Turn your iPhone on and tap the "App Store" tab on your homepage.

    • Tap "Search" on the home page of the App Store and tab the upper "Search" bar.

    • Enter "Java" into the search bar with your keypad and click "Search."

    • Allow a list of relevant results to be populated and tap the top entry on the list, simply titled "Java."

    • Click "Free" on the upper right of the next page and tap "Install." You will be redirected to your phone's homepage and the application will load onto your phone in just minutes.
