Google Latitude App Launched

Google Latitude App Launched for the iTunes App Store

There was news of Google Latitude coming to your nearest "iDevice”, but it looked like the app did not stay for long. However, Google Latitude has now officially come to the iTunes store, for good.

The app lets you check out whether your nearest and dearest ones are actually near or not. You also get to see how far your people are from you. So you don’t have to sit, calculate and then get on your toes to evade that big burly guy whom you owed a lot of money. In case you want to hide from your girlfriend/boyfriend after the mess-up you caused at your last date, you also have an option to hide your location. No guessing the fact that they themselves can do the same!

This app can be really helpful for the fact that you can get to your friends without even knowing directions. It’s quite obvious that your people should have the app as well, but we’re talking about the best situation possible. The app is absolutely free and you can download it from the official web site. It works for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad and needs iOS 4.0 or higher.
