Google Adds Five New Themes to Gmail

Get an Android theme for your Inbox or keep it simple with basic Black or White colors.
Google has added five new themes to the themes gallery of Gmail, its web-based mail service. These five new themes are Basic Black, Basic White, Marker, Tree Tops and Android. Yes, you can now choose an Android theme in your Gmail just in case you're an avid Android smartphone user or enthusiast. These new themes are available right now for all Gmail and Google Apps users worldwide.

Both Basic Black and Basic White are for the people who like simplicity in their Gmail interface. If you look back to 2007, the Tree hugger reported that a Black interface bearing Google page would save 750 Megawatt-Hours a year.

Of course Android fans would love the Android theme that brings a cute little green droid peeping over the Mail icon. Along comes informal Marker theme for those who like it be little bit of colors smudged in their mailbox. Also, there are relaxing tree tops for the nature lovers.

To check out these themes in your Gmail, go to the Settings tab and click on Themes.Take a look at the themes below:
